Product Summary

HUB-1 is a cast hub from the Pointiron range of component parts for agriculture use. The standard grade is nodular cast iron QT550-6; QT450-12, gray iron HT250 and HT200, and austempered ductile iron ADI 900 and ADI 1050 are available as material options. In service the hub takes part in the gear transmission and braking tasks of agricultural equipment, running under intermittent heavy loads and cyclic operation through the farming season. Parts are matched to farm machinery transmission assemblies and wheel brake assemblies, and are specified for anti-rust, salt spray and humidity resistance in farm, outdoor and lawn & garden conditions.

Models and Options

HUB-1 is the reference model in this listing. Two selection routes are open to buyers: holding the geometry and changing the material grade, or supplying a drawing for a related part in the same family of cast agricultural components.

Materials and Structure

Casting is carried out on two DISA lines imported from Denmark: a DISA MATCH32/32 horizontal automatic molding line and a DISA 131B vertical automatic molding line. Annual casting capacity is 35,000 tons across ductile iron and gray iron, with machining capacity of 5 million pieces per year, three paint lines and one assembly line. The plant covers 66,770 m² with 200 employees and an engineering team of 3 engineers, so casting, machining, painting and final assembly are handled as one continuous flow from a single supplier.
