The AUV-600 is a long-range heavy-duty autonomous underwater vehicle built around a 6000 m pressure-rated hull for abyssal bathymetric mapping, oceanographic survey and subsea resource exploration.
The AUV-600 measures 600 mm x 6 m and weighs 1200 kg. It combines a pressure-rated hull rated for 6000 m, a titanium alloy pressure housing, a corrosion-resistant syntactic foam buoyancy module and seawater-resistant electronics, so the platform can be deployed in abyssal hydrostatic pressure, low temperature and dynamic current conditions.
Rated depth is configurable at 1000 m, 3000 m or 6000 m. Operating speed ranges from 1 to 6 knots and standard endurance is ≥24 hours at 3 knots. The navigation suite combines INS + DVL + GNSS + USBL and delivers positioning accuracy of 0.5% of range, which supports survey-grade seabed mapping and repeatable line planning.

The AUV-600 sits in the deep-sea 6000 m AUV series alongside the AUV-533 and AUV-900. The three configurable rated depths — 1000 m, 3000 m and 6000 m — let buyers match the hull specification to the survey area instead of over-specifying the whole fleet.
It complements the wider AUV range from the same manufacturer: AUV-150/160 portable micro AUV, AUV-210/260 nearshore survey AUV, AUV-480 streamlined high-stability AUV and AUV-F760.
The vehicle is built on a pressure-rated hull rated for 6000 m. A titanium alloy pressure housing carries the internal electronics, while a corrosion-resistant syntactic foam buoyancy module provides the reserve buoyancy required for stable attitude control at abyssal depth. All electronics are specified as seawater-resistant to survive long exposure in a low-temperature, high-pressure environment.
Payload integration can be adapted to the mission: CTD sensors, acoustic multibeam bathymetry sonar, high-thrust thrusters, deep-sea waterproof packets and ocean electromagnetic coupling modules are all listed as matched equipment for this platform.
Beyond hardware, the manufacturer provides modular engineering design, AI software development and system integration, core underwater sub-system development, a multi-AUV cooperative detection system and a marine unmanned platform simulation training system.
The hull is rated for 6000 m. Rated depth is configurable at 1000 m, 3000 m or 6000 m depending on the specification ordered.
Standard endurance is ≥24 hours at 3 knots.
INS + DVL + GNSS + USBL, with positioning accuracy of 0.5% of range.
Yes. CTD sensors and acoustic multibeam bathymetry sonar are listed among the matched equipment for the platform, together with high-thrust thrusters and deep-sea waterproof packets.
Survey-grade and environmental compliance documentation is available under certificate AUV-REG-2025-0881, referencing IHO S-44 Special Order hydrographic survey standards, ISO 9001:2015, DNV-ST-F101 and IEC 60529 IP68.
The manufacturer supplies a multi-AUV cooperative detection system and a marine unmanned platform simulation training system for team training and joint operations.
Send your survey area, target depth rating and payload list and we will confirm the matching AUV-600 configuration.
